I hear this every day! "I already picked it up, I promise" and "I'll do it later". Here is a daily log of what my kids are actually leaving on the floor and stairs after they leave for the day. I never know what I'll find. Of course, they never leave clothing on the floor of their own rooms! Seriously, what they leave on the stairs at times, is enough for a large closet....

DAY TWO...Part 3 of 3...October 20, 2009
Here is the stack of hangers from her hallway that I convinced her to bring downstairs to the utility room..She was jumping over the hangers to get to out of her bedroom. One would think it would be easier to bring them down with the dirty clothes.....
